The house comfortably sleeps 8 (4 bedrooms) from £750/week

All four bedrooms are air conditioned to ensure a good night's sleep in the summer heat.

There is a heated, salt water pool - large at 12m x 4m The house is peaceful and tranquil with stunning views out across the valley.  A short drive to a number of picturesque towns with a wide choice of restaurants and markets. It's a gastronome's paradise.

Originally a big stone barn, the house was converted into a dream home around seven years ago with subsequent major refurbishment. Architect designed, the house takes the best of the original beautiful stone building with its oak features and works them into spaces that are large, light and very comfortable.

Downstairs

A large full height hall leads off the entrance terrace garden giving a light and airy feel to the whole house.

There is a spacious living room with 'cuisine americaine' - open plan kitchen/dining/living room. This area is flooded with light from the panoramic floor to ceiling windows, with doors leading to the terrace.  

And you'll have to give our magnificent, family-sized bean bag a go... that's the orange blob in the window.  Promise, you'll never want to get out. 

There is also UK TV and hi-speed internet/wifi throughout free of charge.

One of the double bedrooms is downstairs with Super King bed with its own en-suite shower room.

The showers themselves are high-end thermostatically controlled with masses of hot water.  Each shower room has a heated towel rail and comes with fluffy white luxury towels for all. In addition there is a separate WC downstairs.

 

Upstairs

Three further bedrooms - 1 Super King double

Plus 2 twins both with full size beds. All are furnished with top of the range British divan beds and high quality, cotton linen.

The emphasis is on simplicity, quality and comfort.

The main shower room and a further separate WC are also off the upstairs gallery landing.

There is a small office area on the landing with desk just in case you need to catch up with anything.

 

Outside

We've a large wooden decked area with table and chairs and a BBQ leading to the pool.

 It's a salt pool, 12 m x 4 m and heated all year so swimming is a real pleasure on any day.

The pool has two sun terraces with sun loungers and parasols as well as a built-in stone seating area.

Newly added is an arbour and outside sofa seating area ideal for a comfortable relaxing sit at the end of the day.

On the other side of the house is also a large stone courtyard which is a real sun-trap - complete with table tennis table.

The garden is a  magnet for butterflies and humming moths

There is also a secluded terrace
